So I agree that the partial day streams on Spotify is not looking amazing but here's a few things to note. First, this is only partial day tracking. Of course, the streams is low. Second, this is mostly a cover album that is anything but pop. Third, Katy's 143 has accumulated months of anticipation and it did about the same number (not accounting for streams from singles) as Harlequin which was announced like maybe 3 days ago. Also, the majority of the songs in the album is not dance, electronic pop. It's slow songs, not sure if I can call some of them ballad but surely slow songs like DWAS which usually takes more time to rise on charts. Just look at DWAS.

The movie cast appeared on good morning america today and Harlequin was mentioned which helps with advertisement. I bet from now on every interview for the movie will also talk about the album. Also Gaga is performing on Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday. My guess is they're going to push Happy Mistake as it appears on TTH. With a focus/push on a single, the album will rise gradually. We just need to continue to stream it at the meanwhile.

side note: it’s clear Gaga does not care about how Harlequin performs commercially. If they did, they would have found a way to weasel DWAS on it so it could rack up some streams.

I don't think so. DWAS is also a Bruno's song and he's not directly related to Joker 2. I don't know even if Gaga wants to enlist the song, what Bruno would think. Also, DWAS is not a song from Joker 2 so it doesn't fit.

Also, it just occurred to me from what Gaga described, this song was originally Bruno's idea, unlike Happy Mistake which was a Gaga's song inspired by Joker 2.

Waitttt… there are people here who thought a (basically) jazz album with barely any promo and no singles will do better numbers than Love for Sale? ☠️ Literally every single sale and stream should be appreciated. Stop worrying, just lean back and watch DWAS slay the whole world. Harlequin is literally a side project, a cute little gift to fans, lets not overanalyze its chart performance, PLEASE! Also lets not compare it to 143, which is first of all a pop album, second of all had 3 singles and a major performance at the VMAs.
