Cruel Summer was a hit, no one is denying that? and it went viral on tiktok, there was no need to push that song at all. I’ve never said that her pure sales are fake lol, she arguably has the biggest fanbase in the world rn, they buy basically the same album with an extra demo added to it every other week, ofc it’s gonna sell massively? I was talking about Spotify not filtering her streams, most of which are coming from her stans that play the songs non-stop for hours. I’m not trying to disregard her success, she’s the biggest artist in the world rn, no doubt. I just don’t buy her album/songs having the biggest debuts with non-filtered streams breaking records left and right and then fail to stay in top 10 a few weeks after. that’s it!
