I can't fault the ability of a song's virality to grab the young demographic's attention and its worked so well with the Charli connection already so it stands to reason it would continue. I always believe that a presidential candidate should earn their way instead of being a last minute fill-in and it was clear that Kamala was always going to be aiming for president one day and saw an easy entry here but going against Trump, she suddenly becomes a much more worthy choice. The presidential campaigns have been so messy for so long, it's time they got messy in a harmless way through campaign song choices. I suppose we could argue that if it was Trump doing this, it wouldn't be harmless at all, but a song in itself isn't dangerous, as frivolous as it may be. But it still is frivolous to use songs this way, some might even say unprofessional. It all makes me wonder what kinda president Kamala will be if she wins. But just because she tried to get down with the kids doesn't mean she won't know what she's doing. Obama was dancing on Ellen and having a down to earth image and he didn't do anything reckless throughout his 8 years. To be a politician, you can't be stupid, Kamala's just doing what she knows will work to win.
