Interesting...... honestly makes quite a bit of sense to open with a jazzy french song and end with a jazzy american classic to introduce the next olympics.

Announcement "after a live performance" doesn't necessarily mean right at the end of the performance from the stage. It could also mean after the performance is aired, she makes the announcement on her socials...
