They seem to reference and tribute some of the classic's iconic scenes and shots very thoughtfully. That said, the whole thing feels cynical to me. Snow White is an absolute classic on the level of, like, Gone with the Wind. It is a monument of cinematic history, and one of the most artistically grand projects Disney ever finished. To turn it into a glossy and probably hollow "remake" almost 100 years later seems like a poetic confirmation of the downfall of the company since Walt died.
