People really do just see politics as a team sport, want to mindlessly cheer on the "good team," and get rancorous and spiteful if you criticize their "team" at all, even if that "team" is currently helping murder hundreds of thousands of children. If you can't protest the genocide of your own people at a rally held by someone that has helped facilitate it, literally what the hell is anyone allowed to protest? Same, You won’t list your country in your profile, can you please tell me how well and perfect your government has handled the conflict? I’m all ears! BUtterfield 8 41,818
I mean isn’t the consensus at this point is we’re voting for Kamala but making sure she will help Palestine once she’s in office? I’m not against the protestors being there because other than everything we’re fighting for in the US, what’s happening in Palestine is the most important issue in terms of foreign affairs. I’m all ears! My country is a third world country that was turned into another satellite foreign tool by the USA and their tactics of promoting internal destabilization, supporting invasion, destruction and massacre, so I can only speak from personal experience, but I don't think democrat americans on gagadaily are ready to hear about their lovely pro-love democrat leaders international actions. Concertaholic 6,581
Why don’t they go do that at a Trump rally too? I despise the way Israel has conducted itself in this war and feel for the Palestinian people but I swear these Palestinian activists want Trump to win. You rarely if ever see them going after Trump…
Babel 41,640
Anti-war protest on democrat rallies are important because they brand themselves as is, so they need to be held accountable for it. Don't know whats not clicking.

Condescending to members of a community that your administration is helping destroy is not some sort of "slay girlboss" moment. She essentially told muslim protestors, many of whom have had family members murdered with bombs that the Biden-Harris administration gave Israel, to shut the f*ck up and stop complaining... because criticizing her publicly at all somehow leads to Trump winning. They do this same sh*t every single election cycle: She "supports a ceasefire" in the sense that she's said those words out loud but has not, in any way, signaled that she's going to do anything to actually force Israel to stop blowing up innocent children. She's repeatedly voiced support for Israel, even within the last couple of weeks. Every single politician who has helped to facilitate the genocide should be hounded like this for the rest of their lives. They have to be forced to listen to the families of the people that they're helping a foreign entity murder because they're not going to change otherwise. You can't just tell people whose family members have been r*ped, imprisoned in concentration camps, starved to death or blown up with bombs that your administration provided that they should protest more politely. There's no "proper" venue to force the potential next president to openly address the genocide that she's helped prop up because she's not going to do it otherwise, aside from "listening" and offering hollow rhetoric without a substantive plan of action. There is no telling people whose families have been killed that they have to shut up or else those family members will somehow be even more dead if Trump gets elected. It doesn't work that way. She has to be forced to spell out exactly what she's going to do to stop her own administration's mass murder of Palestinians because she's not going to otherwise. I think I would agree with this take if it was pre-Trump, but when Trump is literally on the other side and trying to end everyone’s rights and freedoms as we know it and turn our democracy into a dictatorship where we will no longer even be allowed to protest or vote, everyone has to fall in line to ensure he doesn’t win…

I don’t understand the obsession with Biden and Kamala as the enemy Can they go protest Trump instead? YOu know, the one who will put Jared in charge of mid-East policy and Gaza will end up a parking lot? Biden is failing at securing a ceasefire like idk why you think that should be excused. He’s definitely not being as tough as he could be. and protesting Trump… is just unserious. He can’t even listen to his own staff he hired. They’re smart to pressure the Dems to do better because they’re more malleable, but again, Kamala hasn’t even had a chance to do anything yet but has already signaled she’s gonna listen more so I dont agree w these protesters

If every election consists of just avoiding them in office things won't progress enough, election after election. It's still important to have an expectation of the democrats to listen and be progressive, they should still want to earn your vote, not just be the de facto "less evil". It's good to put a bit of pressure on them, even if they are the obvious choice.

Monstermilo 5,473
kamala has been very apparent in her wanting a cease fire, she is light years ahead of trump (and biden) in terms of wanting to resolve the israel/palestine conflict. they should be protesting at trump rallies - the man who said he would " let israel finish the job". kamala has been vocal about not agreeing with what israel is doing, u guys are attacking the wrong person here. Imagine Israel decided to arrest, torture, rape and kill all Israeli gay people and the American government gave military aid to help organize this, and a group of American (!) people continuously tried to raise awareness for it and push politicans to publicly speak on America's unbridled support for it, you're telling me you would come on this site and say "Are these people still doing this ****? They are so annoying. Kamala is right for ignoring them"? Yes, Kamala is a better choice than Trump. That's why putting pressure on her is important. If you are already in the know that you will vote for her, you have a moral responsibility to let her know it is critical for you that she stops America's complicity in an ongoing genocide that will be remembered as one of the most gruesome and internationally abided massacres of modern history. Aren't Dem voters supposed to be the ones that care? Like, care to stop innocent people from getting bombed, raped, starved? I guess not. Thank god you returned to this website, one of the very few voices of reasons left. I'm genuinely in awe of how easily most people are brushing off the murder of tens of thousands of people. Like it's just another inconvenience. Like any of these politicians deserve rest for their complicity. I swear they don't see us arabs as human. chaeri pls
alsemanche 97,808
This thread is gross and a perfect reflection of America and American politics. Imagine thinking people rightfully protesting an ongoing genocide literally funded by your government is a bad thing and that 'clapping back' the way Kamala did (cringe at its finest, but sure keep treating her like an influencer who's slaying Twitter lmao) is good. This woman is complicit in GENOCIDE. Do you understand the gravity of that? Or does the death of Arabs not matter to you at all? Soft, soothing, and succulent
Horny Chicken 10,935
50% of Americans do not care about Gaza and will vote for Trump. She has to be careful about what she says and does, otherwise the future of the country (and sadly others too) will be in the hands of the dictator-wannabe. This is a game we must all play. That’s the unfortunate reality. 😔
