Guest
You're so ignorant, that wasn't even funny and I'm no Justin fan. You're wrong. I know everyone has their own opinions and all, but yours is wrong. Please stop judging :)

Coldplay 217
Paradise, every teardrop is a waterfall, viva la vida, clocks, fix you, the scientist, lost! I consider atleast these 7 hits! But then again I'm a hardcore Coldplay-fan and I don't know what the GP thinks I think is just Yellow, Fix You, Clocks, Viva La Vida, Paradise, The Scientist, and may be Talk. But for a Super Bowl halftime I would really like songs like ETIAW, Charlie Brown and Hurts Like Heavem. So happy to see Coldplay stans here.
degenerate 526
"end of time" had energy and ROCKED! "halo" is beyonce's "like a prayer" (which closed medoner's set last year) i don't think gaga has enough uptempo, REALLY memorable hits that would go down well at the superbowl, controversy-free. all she has are: -"poker face" (WITHOUT the 'bluffing with my muffin' bridge) -"bad romance". definite no-nos "just dance"- kinda like "holiday"- super cute song, but won't go down well at the superbowl. "lovegame"- too controversial. "paparazzi"/"alejandro"- too midtempo. "speechless"- even duetting with elton john might be a snooze. "born this way"/"judas"- NOT AT THE SUPERBOWL. maybes "telephone"- MIGHT work if beyonce appears. "you & i"- MAYBE if she mashes it up with "we will rock you" :derpga:and brings up brian may. "the edge of glory"- only if clarence were alive and played the sax solo live. not a big enough hit. IMO, it's not what appeals to the majority of super bowl viewers that's important since it's the most watched television event. Everyone who's watching has different tastes. What it's about is who's on the stage, and that would be Gaga. Just Dance put her on the map. I can definitely see her doing that. As far as the midtempo songs (Alejandro and Paparazzi), she is theatrical enough to make those very entertaining (2009 VMAs). I agree with LoveGame, Speechless and Judas. But Born This Way is her anthem. How could she not perform it? If homophobics have issues with the "gay straight or bi" line they can turn off the tv. TEOG is definitely big enough for her to perform. It's one of her most well recognized songs by the GP.

TEOG is a must, and her Paparazzi performance at the VMAs had a massive influence on the GP. Everybody was talking about it + I never met one person disliking it (though I know a lot of people who hate her). And Born This Way is what she stands for as an artist. Nevertheless I would love her to perform fan favorites that weren't released as singles :flutter:

Urban 9
i doubt that Gaga will be chosen to do the 2014 halftime show, although it would be nice if she was. I think that because it was a solo female pop artist two years in a row they will try to switch it up and either have a band, or a male artist. I read somewhere that the halftime show is usually like that, where they try to balance out the kinds of acts. I think Gaga would be great at it, however, her schedule is so busy right now and she'd have to do it with a lot of time to rehearse and get rest. I think that if by end of 2013 and early 2014 Gaga isn't touring yet, she could pull it off.

EnigmaMonstr 26
I thought about this, and Gaga should perform at the 50th Superbowl with her nexttttttt album. I feel like she deserves it because its "50" and like more special than all the other ones.
HeAteMyHeart 2
Don't you realise that Super Bowl will boost ARTPOP sales???????? And Britney doesn't deserve it. She is not the A-list artist, she is not legend anymore. The old Britney is legend. You Judas! I'm not exactly worried about ARTPOP sales. The only reason I am saying "no" is because you only perform at the superbowl one time in your life. Would you like her to do it with 10 hit songs to choose from or the 50 best songs of her career at some point down the line? If you agree that she isn't going to be leaving the spotlight anytime soon, I think we could also agree that she will probably have even better material a few albums from now. Without question I want Gaga to perform at the Superbowl, I would just prefer it not be next year. :ohwell:
