I have been going to London since I was a child, and my parents even owned a home there, but now we never go because its dangerous and different. But im still not from Europe or fully aware of the politics there, just giving my opinion as an outsider..

I’ve always wanted and known I wouldn’t want to live in the UK forever, and recently I’ve realised once I’ve got the means I will definitely be leaving.
 

I’m heartbroken in a way because I’m proud to be English, but this isn’t the England I grew up in. 
 

It’s difficult because in a lot of ways we made progression, now we are going completely backwards, misinformation has caused a literal race war to kick off on our streets. This is truly terrifying.

That wouldnt even suprise me. I already knew in 2019 that 2020 was gonna be a huge year with some sort of change as I looked into the astrology. Theres videos on youtube about it, one from Brancha Goldsmith in 2016, she picked a year to look into the astrology and she said 2020 is gonna be a huge change. Never thought id believe in this stuff but its so interesting. Also on the Astrology Podcast on youtube, one of the astrologers said "There'll be no hugging in the third week of March". Obviously i dont think she meant it as the social distancing, but subconsciously she knew. I know not everyone believes in this stuff but I do now. I dunno how it works, but it does

Yeah, the introduction of COVID into our society has been shown to result in an increase in reckless driving and other aggro behavior (probably because the disease has been shown to create longstanding neuroinflammation, executive dysfunction, and potentially even brain damage), so you’re probably right on the money here, unfortunately.

I fear as with Brexit, Boris, conspiracy theories and whatnot, England has often been a breeding ground for these populist ploys which we then see replicated in other countries…

Yeah, I’ve been dealing with pretty severe Long COVID brain fog for the past two years (which has been more or less completely debilitating), so I absolutely hear you there. It’s wild how much it can fck with your brain 🫠

Yeah, I definitely think that the growth of the international far right and the use of social media to spread disinformation and propaganda has radicalized and emboldened these types across the world. This ****, in the US, UK, and anywhere else, needs to be firmly repudiated and rebuked at every juncture.
