Part of the reason I love Billie Eilish is because people find the most ridiculous reasons to hate her, when she’s honest overall a decent person and she absolutely is talented. But the journey from “homophobic” to “queer baiting” to coming out has been wild. I’m proud of her for living her truth no matter what, it’s pretty clearly not a her problem. She’s has some interesting soundbytes the last two years, but it’s truly been nothing to scoff at. I wasn’t even bothered by “yikes”. It’s giving jealousy with a dash of misogyny. It’s weird
