Just on Trump v Harris, if you had a vote in the US election your right to vote would obviously be an issue that you would care about. If either candidate wanted to take away your right to vote, that would matter very much. Trump, if he wins, will imo work to take away everyone's right to vote. I am sure he would still hold elections and voters would still cast their votes, but the votes wouldn't matter because the elections would be rigged. Trump has recently given a speech from which you could infer that he would do that, but then he does say a lot of stuff. But it's not his speeches that I'm looking to for evidence, it's his actions. He refused to accept the result of the 2020 election and attempted to prevent the transfer of power to Biden. Every losing candidate in the history of US elections could have tried that stunt, but I think I'm right in saying that Trump is the only one who has actually done so. Would that not be enough for you to say that Trump must be stopped and I will therefore vote for Harris as the best means of stopping him ?

So maybe if I was American I would care, but im focused on foreign issues. I do think Trump is the better of two evils when it comes to foreign affair, but I still think hes evil enough to not support him.

I also dont know if I believe the fearmongering around Trump, every time I believed it I end up looking like a fool.

I really believe voting for the better of two evils might help short term on small issues, but it will keep this corrupt system going long term.

Im not sure if I answered your question, sorry if its not a straight forward answer, because im honestly not sure considering we dont vote in my country. But your questions are making me think and challenge myself.

”So if you are telling me that as someone who is not an American citizen, that I should not be discussing nuanced political issues from America because I am misinformed, then why are Americans allowed to frequently discuss complex political issues from the Middle East?” I think he is pointing out what he sees as a double standard.

No I completely understand that, but several users here have explained why the initial post is easily proven false and ill informed, and the OP refused to accept that and threw several other topics into the mix. So I returned the narrative back to their their creation of this thread and comments about Trump after refusing to listen to the words of Americans, as they claim they want to do: learn. 

Theyre taking in circles and got you’s. I’ve seen the same user do this before. Their second comment was about their defense of Trump not promoting Project 2025, or being affiliated. I returned to that point, because YES, if you’re proven wrong accept it and then don’t double down when called out for discussing highly volatile and nuanced American politics, if you then willingly declare yourself not an American and then REFUSE to accept in your face facts.

A lot does depend on what part of the world you're from. I'm from Europe, so my big worry is Putin, and I would favour Harris over Trump on that issue, and on Gaza, and also on climate, but the anti-democracy issue is the biggest of all for me. I see you are from Saudi Arabia so you would have a different perspective.

The TLDR is essentially Handmaids tale in real life.

Lots of policy proposals to remove civil rights, minority protections etc 

Some truly crazy fringe aspects which go as far as essentially establishing a dictatorship. 

The BBC does a good job of comparing how the details in the project 2025 900 page manifesto compares with the platform agreed at the Republican convention.

Thanks for not dogpiling on me, and actually challenging my opinions, I did enjoy talking to you.

I just want to make it clear that I still consider Biden / Kamala much better than Trump, if I was an American voter, I would go Democrat. But im not sure when it comes to foreign affairs in the Middle East? We view it as the same system because it never changed for us regardless of whos the president.

All you told me is to stop talking because im an uneducated none America, and I should listen to Americans here. You did not discuss the original topic or attempted to inform me of anything. Considering its election season, we will be talking alot about politics, and seeing how people are acting here, im gonna try to do my best to ignore anyone that mocks, doesnt make an argument, and doesnt argue in good faith. Or else every topic will end in drama and people being nasty.

Im also gonna stop defending myself from being a Trump supporter because thats useless.
