Reminds me of this Olly Alexander quote:

Being political is unavoidable. An LGBTQ+ life is politicized whether we like it or not’,. He continues ‘The sort of fight for LGBT rights [...] has shown we had to be political for the rights we have today. That fight is not over [...]. On a personal level I understand when somebody might not want to engage politically due of their sexual preferences – because they do not feel an alliance to that, no values or it is just too complicated. But whoever we are now, I think, is politicized and we cannot escape that.’

Yeah yeah, follow that fantasy.

my queerness is not political, except for those who make it that. We all have been tricked into politicizing EVERYTHING. I am not playing by anyone’s rules or views on politics.

Fine. He can have “it”. Rhymes with ****, so it fits.

Which is also a pronoun. He can have idiot, an noun/adjective.

I dont find pronouns cringe, pronouns are important, but someone like Kamala doesnt need a pronoun announcement on her bio. Its not a big deal, its just a little bit cringe.

Also, this is a Lady Gaga forum, and Lady Gaga is a singer celebrity. Shes the last person in the world I would agree with on political issues. Im her for her art and music, not her personal political beliefs. Im sure there is alot you disagree with Gaga about, so why are you even here?

Yeah, that's to normalize sharing preferred pronouns so that anyone who needs to share them won't be the odd ones out.

Gaga's politics are a huge part of her artistry, don't be obtuse.

As others have explained, it's a way of normalizing it for others. Same reason, I, as a cis-gendered, straight, white female have my pronouns on the bottom of every post and have requested admin add them to profiles. Everyone should feel comfortable with posting their pronouns. I love to see companies that have people include them in their email signatures and name tags.

You are not queer in a vacuum, though.

You don't need to acknowledge identity politics as part of your day to day life (or play by certain "rules" you don't like/agree with) but when push comes to shove, you are not exempt from them in the bigger picture. Your queerness is sometimes political within society.

"You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you" 🥥🌈 lmao

I do not bottom (no judgment)

Your queerness is inherently political as long as your rights and safety are up for discussion. The one living a fantasy is you.

Is this really controversial? I mean it is cringe when people like Kamala uses pronouns on twitter bios. Did she or anyone asked him about Project 2025?

I don't think it's cringe and I know a lot of other trans and nb people who don't think it's cringe either

Maestro, play me your symphony; I will answer to anything. Take me on a trip,

Okay, can everyone stop dogpiling on @faysalaaa abt the pronoun comment? He’s explained his stance multiple times and it’s not adding anything productive to the convo atp.

People really aren't intentionally dogpiling them (for lack of a fitting pronoun ironically). They say a lot of inflammatory things around here, period, and people respond in kind.

How em I complaining? I simply tried to avoid repeating myself so I informed the member I replied to that I already explained my comments. But in your head, you think im complaining and asking for attention lol
