Dance, heavy metal with beheaded Marie Antoinette, drag queens, voguing, singing on a island that was moving on la seine, a lady on a mecanical horse that was passing on the seine. It was SO good, very queer and diversified, you should check it because Gaga and Celine weren't the most impressive acts.

She was good. She always is.But i ll be honest. It was not my favourite performance of her. When you have Lady Gaga why to give her something that can do many many singers? Its campy i know n cabaret but God, her persona its beyond from that. I like this side of her on an old Hollywood event, or inside the jazz n piano, cause i understand her love to that niche. But in the public eye she stands out for her crazy weirdo, pioneer side. That light hearted, feather, girlish pink thing (like her met gala show too) for me, its not her number one power i thing.. 

Also i didn't like that they use her on the start in the day light. When the sun sets everything looked way better..

And then.. i saw that mechanical horse inside the river... With the silver costume we saw on the trailer (and all we thought it was her -it wasn't) And i was like.. "common man, you had ready a concert like this and you gave her to play the happy cabaret pink girl, really? It was a concept that screamed "Gaga!"

Imagine if she was The Rider in all that River ride, and sang in that Joanne of Arc look an epic song in that epic moment n lights. The best moment of the night if you ask me.

Exactly. Gaga normally shouldn’t even be there but she respected her part, Celine should be the main focus. While French-Canadian, she has done amazing things for French music globally.

The whole vibe is kinda all over the place. And the sun still up when it started is always an issue. It kinda ruins the party mood & celebratory vibe. But Gaga, the drag queens, Gojira, & Celine were excellent performances that helped it a great deal from being a hot mess. So a huge thanks to them. 
 

With that said, I still feel Beijing 2008 & London 2012 are still the best ones from the recent memories.

Looking forward for my homestead, Los Angeles, to host in 2028. While I also worry about it will still bright when it's started. But with how many world class artists and creative producers lived in the city, they shouldn't and won't dissapoint with the opening and closing ceremonies.
