There is already a "Swiftie for Kamala" initiative going on... I really really hope she comes through, but yeah chances are probably slim with her touring in the US during elections. If she is doing it, probably not before the European leg has ended.

I do think she will endorse her, but wayyyy closer to the election. The final US Eras tour dates fall on the weeks leading up to the election in red states. I fear she might keep her mouth shut for a bit.

She won’t endorse anyone until after Oct 4 when her contract with WB is up and she can talk about politics again

You’ll definitely see more “Harris-????” branding once her running mate is chosen. But Kamala is such a unique name for Americans that it’s a good way to distinguish herself from a branding perspective. It also lends a familiarity and casualness that I think synergizes with her silly personality.

In 2019, and maybe before that too, when asked in interviews she would say "just call me Kamala" but it's also probably related to gender. The same thing happened to Hillary, but she was also trying to run from her last name a little bit.
