Antisemitism has no place in the effort for a ceasefire and the dismantling of the apartheid Israel has formed at the expense of the well-being of the Palestinian people.

I think it's worth mentioning that although Kamala is president of the Senate she did not make herself available to attend Netanyahu's address to Congress

I find it absolutely bizarre how many zionists are out there registering and routinely posting israeli propaganda on pop music forums like GGD and ATRL :alsemanche:

Like.. you know this is a pretty quiet site, right sis? You stick out like a sore thumb and we can all see your posting history with just a couple clicks.

This is like those climate protesters glueing themselves to the road, it's not gonna help the cause it's gonna piss people off. I understand their stance of wanting to free Palestine but not using those final solution signs and showing hamas in a positive light. The same I will say about Israeli protesters doing the same thing, the extremism doesn't help the situation at all.

Honestly the extremist elements of these activist groups genuinely don't want things to change.

If things change as they demand, their entire sense of self goes away. They build their entire world around this extremism. So nothing will ever be good enough.

Also before anyone jumps down my throat. The extremism I'm highlighting here is the idiot pictured with a poster talking about The Final Solution. And others like them who turn up to these protests and deliberately engage in media baiting stunts that denegrate the movement. People like that are egomaniacs who's only cause is self advertisment. They don't care about the Palestinians suffering in Gaza, they care about being seen in the right place doing the loudest thing.

It's also worth noting that it was because she had other commitments and that she met with him in private today.

Yes I was aware. She controls her schedule, and a private unfiltered chat is going to be a lot more effective than one in front of cameras. To me it's a good sign.

i just wish sometimes that many anti-israel/pro-palestine protestors would realise that those of us who are more moderate completely agree with them on many points. netanyahu's address yesterday was abhorrent, he's a nationalist lunatic who's doing nothing but destroying innocent lives and making an already horrendous situation even more horrific. a ceasefire is long overdue, and he's one of the only people standing in the way of it.

but jesus, a lot of us cannot stand with people making these statements. there are a lot of us donating to relief funds and emailing political representatives with the hope of getting closer to a ceasefire, but anti-semitism in these protests is no longer a one-off, it's a trend. as a political movement, you should want to bring people along with you and convince more people of your position, not put them off and turn them away by being racist and extremist.

But the sad thing is there are a lot of extremists these days and the left too worships radicalization, not just the right, you see it everywhere regardless of the topic at hand. But this is a conversation the left doesn’t want to have, they think there’s only a far right and not a far left too. Both sides think that they are pulling far away from one another by adopting more extreme and radical stances on these issues but ironically they are starting to resemble each other more and more. And it is indeed driven as you said by wanting to be seen as the most righteous ones. It’s sad and scary.

Exactly, and qualifying "antisemitism is wrong and should be condemned" with ".....even though Israel is the one in the wrong". Wbk Mary, but it doesn't give me a lot of faith that you believe your own condemnation. It's giving JK Rowling "I know and love trans people"

Yeah that girl w the Hamas band and the graffiti is too much. I do not believe she represents the vast majority of the protesting college students though.

I’m still very anti z!0nist and apartheid and believe Netanyahu is our generation’s Hitler… but celebrating Hamas??? Get the bar up off below the floor
