This is very interesting because it's not going to be like Ally that every time she sang you were just looking at Gaga singing like Gaga. With Lee it seems like the insanity of the character is going to be very present in the not so perfect notes that she does.

In the future he’s going to have an extensive discography of albums created by different characters. 

I don’t think she did it with Ally  Her singing was her singing, especially in ARUTW, not to mention the melody in Shallow which screams Gaga  Ally is a trained singer, Lee is just another girl who will have to sing because her therapists ask her to do so

Sort of how when they’re waltzing through the street in real life it’s a bit haphazard, but when we see them waltz in the fantasy sequence it’s very poised and elegant.

Though, I do think there is at least some fantasy to it. Maybe Joker and Harley are taking music therapy and that's where the singing aspect comes into play.

It will start off as the fantasy / shared delusion and start leaking out into real life as they both plunge further into madness, the same way Joker can't control his laughing outbursts. Imagine how uncanny and disturbing it will be to see them singing as if they are in a musical – but off-key, etc – while committing gruesome acts, because they are ****ing insane. Omg.

She sang in a thinner voice especially in Ally's pop songs though, reflecting the way she gets manufactured by the industry
