I wouldn't stan until ARTPOP, but I remember she performed You and I on Oprah (or something) and it totally blew me away. I hadn't really given Gaga much thought prior as pop music was so not my thing. You and I - really an indie rock song at heart - changed my idea of what a pop star and pop song could sound like. To think she crafted an entire masterpiece of an album in between sold out Monster Ball Shows, staying up for hours afterwards on her tour bus with Fernando and Paul.
