I remember the Spice Girls performance to be a surprise so it's quite possible they don't announce all performers beforehand.

Something to note is that sports events of this magnitude are incredibly strict with protocols and timings, so I also wouldn't put it past them to require Gaga to come to Paris early for rehearsals and what not, even if she's meant for the closing ceremony. Maybe even have courtesy calls to dignitaries. It's THAT BIG of a deal.

Seeing the videos from the Olympics art director, it'll be a huge show. The fact they are teasing the moon stuff, the very coded Gaga aesthetics and she was literally teased in that video with black dress.

I'm just so happy this is actually happening, always believed it, but I fully understand people who didn't.

Regardless, this will be huge for her career, love to see it.
