The Ring (2002), and not movies, but I like to rewatch The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass. They're the perfect combination of horror, suspense, and a lot of sentimental tearjerker scenes.

Happy Death Day.

Especially when I’m hungover in bed with a lot of food.

In my messy era.

Argentum

any scream movie or a mindless random 80s slasher

Friday the 13th Part VII --- Jason against a girl with superpowers sure sounds mindless enough I'm in

B&W classic horror/gothic horror. There’s a coziness to the sound and tone of the Universal Monsters and others.

Some other comforts: Halloween, The Others, The Woman in Black, Crimson Peak, The Mummy (1999).

Shoutout to TV shows too: The X Files, Unsolved Mysteries, History Channel docs  (not ancient aliens lol)

Love this topic, OP and hello fellow horror Gaga fans :)

I  love the classic horror movies from the 1930s - 1950s.  Everything from Frankenstein (1931) through The Mummy (1959).

I live outside the space time continuum.
