The video is somewhat difficult to understand and commands a few watches to truly get it. I'm still a bit lost as to the identity of the version in the long platinum blonde wig (seeing as she signs where it says Jade but then the same Jade who's sitting on the couch in the angel outfit and we don't know what relation she was to anyone) and the one in the red coat (she had no build-up at all). Apart from the moment of the red wig which is apparently The Fifth Element reference and perhaps the feathered outfits which reference Black Swan, where is the Showgirls reference? I was expecting the starlet to get pushed down the stairs to reference it but she got hit with a chair! But I get the overall gist of how so many wannabes are chosen to be stars in the moment but the management move on from them the second it's no longer working or their head is turned. That chorus is living in my head rent free. Theres a low quality clip circulating on twitter and tiktok from her single release party where she previewed single 2 (and possibly a clip of its video?).
