At this point, even Lifetimes or Nirvana would end up being cute gifts for the fans as opposed to something that would put any wind back in the era's sails, so at least she's aware of that 

While both snippets sounded serviceable, I'm not sure that even a Levitating-level ear worm would turn this era around given that they're likely not going to invest in playlisting after this.

I honestly don't know how she's gonna recover from this. Normally you could pretend it was a buzz single and go back to the drawing board, but they already announced the album and everything. She has to go through with it even though the album is dead on arrival
