Those judges were appointed because Trump was president. What are you even talking about? If Hillary Clinton would have won in 2016 NONE OF THIS **** would be happening.

And? did you never think the republicans would win another election. That decision was always going to happen with or without Trump because it has long been a topic of fierce debate and a goal of conservatives to put power in the hands of the state government to influence these abortion laws.

People are still missing my point that Trump is not even the real threat, get rid of Trump and you are still left with the same issues

The sad thing is most people who are informed about Project 2025 were already planning on voting against him

Republicans are virtually clueless (shocker) and only about a third of independents have even heard about it, though that is rising and just about everyone who learns about it finds it shockingly disgusting

But yeah, it's wild to think about the consequences this election could have

And people who vote for him will say he doesn't endorse it because "he said so", ignoring that almost everybody involved is connected to him, a very obvious lie from a serial liar.

He was learning in his first (and hopefully last) mandate, I fear a second mandate would be nightmarish because he has experience on how to play the game now, in my mind project 2025 is a real threat and I fully understand your stance, nobody should live under the threat of this madness.

The point is the 2016 election gave way to 1/3 of the SCOTUS judges to be appointed. Trump appointed 3/9. What are you even talking about?

Of course Republicans will win other elections. The point is people like you downplaying the damage his presidency caused and his future one will cause.

Do your homework and stay informed.

It's hard to move an ideology forward without a figurehead the masses can follow. Without Trump the threat is still there, but it'd be a less immediate one.

It's literally their game plan. It's his set of policies going into a potential second term.

Nobody, not even Trump, expected Trump to win in 2016 and he still damaged us beyond belief. He set civil rights back by decades, rigged the game in favor of the rich, all while scrambling to form a plan on the fly.

Well now, they've got a well thought out plan to enact the second he (god forbid) takes office.

They learned from their mistakes after winning in 2016, they won't make the same mistakes again and they are coming for us.

Whimsical bitch

Well you do have a point there which is why I am voting against him

I feel like I expressed myself badly before and people thought I was saying that Trump presented no threat, I just dont feel like he is any more of a threat than say if Ron Desantis was to become president because the things Trump advocates for are standard republican policy at this point sadly

You can literally go back to one of my earlier comments where I stated that Trump is responsible for kicking off this new era of fear mongering politics in 2016, nobody is giving him a pass for anything. You are just trying to spin a narrative and put words in my mouth

You’re projecting

I obviously echo everybody's sentiments that violence has no place in politics. It is however ironic, considering Trumps stance on gun laws. He's certainly not getting any sympathy from me.

Especially considering he literally publicly said ‘get over it’ regarding one of the school shootings that happened… absolutely ZERO sympathy for this man :bye:

How? anybody who knows my comment history in Gaga Daily knows I despise Trump, I dont need to explain myself to anyone.

Not believing we will be living through the next Nazi Germany if he wins the presidency is not "giving him a pass" You said I was doing somethig that I was not, I am not projecting but you were definitely trying to twist what I said

And I think at the core of what you're saying are some valid thoughts for sure. I also think right now, for people who are at risk of being harmed by the party's plans especially, anything that sounds remotely like downplaying the danger we're in is gonna get a knee-jerk negative reaction. We were told we were fearmongering and overreacting in 2015 when he looked like a publicity candidate but saw ourselves proven right so any downplaying feels like being gaslit. We've largely been shielded from societal distress like this in this country so the shakiness we're seeing in the faultlines of our democracy/republic has a lot of people on edge.

The shooter was outside the secured fence. He was not in the rally. He was a sniper with a rifle.

Yeah except snipers don’t miss.
