Even till this day people will deny reality and act like Biden is okay, or that Trump and Biden are equally senile. Not to mention the refusal of allowing Democracy choose a good candidate, instead they planned to kick Bernie Sanders out of the race even though he was democratically winning. They say Bernie needs to step down because he wont be able to beat Trump, and now look where we are. Trump is literally winning without doing anything! If these aren't "signs of senility", then I ask you how bad does it need to get before he qualifies? This isn't about age. (There are many 90 year olds who could run circles around him.) This is about serious cognitive decline. Just because he's been in the job for 3.5 years doesn't mean he's up to the task for another 4.5 years. And I'll point out that he wasn't even chosen for the job in the first place because he was the most capable; he was put there because he's "not Trump". Its when u combine everything together u get a rather concerning picture To me the biggest red flag of all is their teams and wifes own admission he only works well at certain times of the day (a rather narrow window too) and they blamed travel for poor performance and that he needed rest when he hadnt traveled for several days before they even used the cold excuse If u need THAT much rest to be alert (and he still doesnt look particularly alert) u probably are not the ideal candidate to do a job as demanding as president Again, if the issue was just random brain farts like calling ppl the wrong name i wouldnt think much about it. But red flags that on their own dont prove anything start to become a lot more concerning when u add them all up together. And given just how prominent mental decline or even dimensia is in ur 80s, this concern is hardly farfetched tbh Edit: and im gonna add here the past 3.5 years vs another 4 are two very different thing if ur clearly deteriorating. Seriously - Needs lots of rest and functions best only from 10am to 4pm with having to stop anything by 8 - he does way less interviews and appearances than just about any other President. I also just learned he hasnt even had a cabinet meeting in an entire year since last October which isnt normal - The slow slured speeches and trailing off - on multiple occasions looking confused exiting the stage Im sorry, even if we dont know for certain this is enough to be seriously concerned and the gafs and calling ppl the wrong name really is the least of it. If that was all he had an issue with, i wouldnt read that much into it and id chalk it up to a personal weakness in articulate communication.
