Surely that is NOT accurate? Like no shade or anything, but that surely can’t be right, right? Especially with only like, <200k likes? Just feels wildly disproportionate, especially if you look at numbers for more popular artists. X views are incredibly funky. It‘s basically just saying how often it was showed to people, if they watched even a second of it or not. Trump‘s interview with Tucker Carlson had 150m views in 7 days and many news articles put these numbers into perspective, for example: „The high view count doesn’t actually mean that people watched the 46 minute-long interview—or even part of it—as it only refers to the number of views the post got, meaning the number of users logged into X who simply saw the tweet on any platform, regardless of whether they follow Carlson.“ Basically while for other platforms you‘d have to actually play the video to count as a view on twitter even scrolling though your timeline with auto-play turned off counts. Dr rapist has still connections - huge ones - on radio and music platforms and in the music industry in general, otherwise he would have been cancelled (but he got a pass because we all know why). It's sad to admit that this is probably going to happen. The GP doesn't know or care about Dr. Luke's reputation. All they're going to see is a new Katy Perry song spammed everywhere. Still this suggests that her posts on X have amazing reach (compared to Gaga whose posts only reach a fraction of Katy's). Remains to be seen if this will translate into streams and sale. Katycats sure believe so.
Ultimecia 6,025
Some people on here really feel the need to be THAT wrong huh? Bending over backwards and making ridiculous comparisons to try and justify this. Absolutely revolting. Time. It will not wait, no matter how hard you hold on...

But could also very well be the announcement/promo of a major new musical project sparking more interest, compared to a concert film for example. Also even quote tweets count as views, if I‘m correct, and Woman‘s World and Katy are getting a lot of bad and good attention right now, so depending on who reshares the posts the numbers could be very real, but views (on x) don‘t mean anything and they could very well be out of dislike. And Joker promo for example is distributed through many different channels, the Joker one itself, the involved people (actors, director, the studio, other people working on it), also since the product isn‘t centered around one person, compared to the solo project of an artist, the reach is bigger but it‘s split between all those, if it makes sense. Long story short: We can only compare the performance of Katy‘s promotional campaign with a major pop project campaign from Gaga. So we can’t exactly say until Gaga releases.
