Someone recently startet a thread asking if Gaga is relatable… reading certain comments I instantly knew some Gaga daily members were introduced to this fanbase much later than for example me. Spoiler altert: I definitely feel she is relatable and I have been a fan since the fame era. 
This arose the question in me since when have you all been in this fandom?

Since 2011  can't believe that was 13 years ago. We really grew up. Sometimes I see people on TikTok who are big fans but they're only like 16 and it's so crazy to me that the young ones are still picking up her music from The Fame right through to Chromatica. Like it's just something that never occurred to me until I was grown up. I was already 16 myself when Gaga first debuted! We welcome all the young gen z fans who were just kids when we started listening at their age

Summer of 2008 I was a very dumb little kid running a Britney fanpage on MySpace lmao. One of the other fan pages had a Gaga song on their profile, Just Dance, and then after that’s how I found her. After that I bought the music videos for just dance and poker face on iTunes and when the school year started again I showed everyone in my 8th grade classes Gaga music and they didn’t really care. Then Gaga became a global superstar very quickly and suddenly everyone swore that they’ve always liked her. I take pride in being the first one to know about her in my middle school.

Since 2009, when I used to download the music videos through Limewire (possibly illegal) and spending the money I got for christmas on my first album, The Fame Monster/The Fame bundle. I would share Gaga news to my high school mates on a site called Friendster. I used to have a portable CD player and I would let my friends listen to the album during recess/snack break and lunch.

"I'm hungry" = "Ho fame", yes lol but we also have the term "fama" to indicate celebrity, notoriety.

2008. She grabbed me w the Fame but kept me with the fame monster. I'll never forget scouring the internet for leaks in the run up to tfm. alejandro leaked as "don't call my name" and everybody knew this entire thing was going to be next level.
