The hush money conviction was unlikely to ever move the needle. Yeah, he’s technically a felon now, but It’s a for tame white collar crime that occurred before his presidency. 
 

The Jan 6 charges and evidence are far more damning. The more they are discussed and dissected in the public forum, the more swing voters Trump is going to lose.

If a Democrat had 34 felonies for the same reasons we would have had a violent revolution where the President is dragged out of the White House. 

Hell, major media companies are calling for Biden to step down after one bad debate. 

There are two separate standards in this country. Nothing Republicans do ends up in real accountability. When Trump said he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Ave and he’d get away with it, he wasn’t kidding.

The majority of Americans are not ignorant to the country’s issues. The majority of Americans are not electing these insane, evil people. A Republican hasn’t won a majority in a popular vote in my entire lifetime, but two have won the presidency due to the distribution of electoral college electorates. 

Most voters have a massive problem with that. There’s just nothing we can do about it. 

Europeans, Latin Americans, Australians, etc etc lecturing us on our issues is genuinely preaching to the choir. We know. We don’t like it either. The majority of us have been trying and that is reflected in every single election.

This is not a 'conservative-leaning' judgement. It is an absurd judgement, and it can only have been arrived at in bad faith. I don't know exactly what you have to do to be guilty of treason under American law, but this has to be in the ballpark. Why would the six judges put themselves in this position ? How do they justify it to themselves ? Religion is my guess.
