And in this instance they're not wrong... but I really don't see him stepping down. We're gonna get Trump back in the White House and Biden's legacy will be the president that funded the Palestinian genocide and steered his country towards total fascism out of pride. It's so f*cking depressing.

And it shows how he is just like 99% of other politicians

 

A politician whose #1 concern is the welfare of their Country (or heck even their party) and not themselves should have the humility to be able to step down (Like New Zealands PM did) when they can no longer perform at their best either due to health or poor approval ratings

 

The fact his mind clearly is not exactly top notch sharp anymore, his approval ratings arent stellar etc, if his main concern was the American people or even just his party hed step down

 

But he wont step down because like most politicians, personal ambition is the #1 concern... their desire to help the public even if its genuinely present comes #2 to their career ambitions

 

I think I can say the same for Canadas PM Trudeau who will run the Liberals to the ground in next years election and hes not a borderline senile old man

it's so sad because the majority of us have been able to see he is in major cognitive decline for a while now and all that money they could have spent on propping up another democrat candidate. Now if they switch to someone else it will be a guarantee that the democratic party will lose by a landslide. Biden will lose too. They just wasted their opportunity because of sheer stubbornness trying to gaslight the public into not believing what was right in front of them on a daily basis.... that Biden is too old to run. This is causing some irreparable damage ot the democratic party in general imo. It feels like the dems are corrupt AF for allowing this to happen and I think this will be a MAJOR turn off for lots of ppl from ever considering democrats as a serious party

I will say, it’s kinda wild that everyone’s saying Biden should drop out, meanwhile the alternative is literally a convicted felon who tried to have his cult overthrow the government. Like, Biden is far from the best candidate, but realistically, I don’t see him dropping out of the race. We wanna talk about people who are unfit, but Trump is so much worse in many ways. If/when Biden is the Democratic nominee in November, we need to vote for him.

Trump did nothing but lie last night. He has been lying for years. I’d rather have a slow speaking man rather than a fast talker who spews nothing but garbage. Both parties should have better candidates, but between these two there’s clearly one that will be fair and another that has his own self interest and will only bring on those loyal to him.

We are asking Biden to drop out because we don’t want Trump to win and we can have a chance to stop this Trump madness.But it is too late now,Biden’s pride got in the way of the country and arguably the world ‘s .Surely, people will vote for Biden no matter how they feel about them but it is the democrat’s fault for failure to produce a better candidate.

I just think it’s pointless for Biden to drop out unless the Dems run a SUPER aggressive campaign for his successor. It’d be too little too late imo. I don’t particularly like Biden and it is partially Dems fault for not producing a better candidate, but this whole talk of him dropping out is moot. It’s a shame because there are many better options out there, but considering how poorly Dems are handling Biden right now, I also don’t trust them to put forward a “better” candidate.

Behind closed doors, even his political ENEMIES admit how sharp and intelligent he is.

There's literal video of him jogging to supporters after the debate despite how stiff being 80 has made his body.

He has one iffy debate performance against a watered down Hitler with 34 felony charges that spent an hour and a half lying and people panic and want the Democratic party to abandon its incumbent president.

It's ridiculous.

I don't particularly care for Biden but he is absolutely the best chance the Democratic party has at beating Trump. Replacing him now, even if he stepped down and let Kamala run as incumbent, would be an enormous sign of weakness and burn many moderates' faith in the D party. Not to mention the primaries have already been held.

It wouldn't just be foolish, it'd be downright idiotic.

The thing is you can tell he's not how he used to be. And nobody expects him to. You said it yourself, he's 80. He can do well for an 80 year old, but that doesn't mean he's doing well overall. Old people can have good moments when they're sharp and bad moments where they blank. But that's not something you can really afford to have running a $600B/year military or any country really. The best thing he could have spent the last 4 years doing is being seen with somebody like Kamala or another younger democrat consistently. He should have been grooming a successor, along with most of the other Democratic Party leadership. Kamala could have earned herself the black, Latino, and gay vote being seen working on those sorts of issues. And she could have gotten older Americans by getting along with Biden and forming an image together. The female vote would be relatively easy if she was vocal about women's rights during SCOTUS. And really she would have gotten younger Americans by talking about being a "younger leader" and understanding bridging the needs of generations for successful future generations. Biden should have never considered a second term, ever. And he did this country a huge disservice by either having Kamala as VP or by not pushing her into Americans' eyes more.

I will vote for Biden if he's not replaced, but I am hoping he is. I don't think he's mentally well.

Trump is also not mentally well because I think he's mentally insane, but I'd never vote for Trump, so.

I get the sentiment and if it was advantageous I would be for it. 

However, how interesting that they said nothing about Trump dropping out after becoming a CONVICTED FELON. 

The media gave us Trump in 2016 and they will do it again. 

Trump and Republicans are allowed to say and do whatever they want and all they get is negative commentary but no real calls to remove them from power.
