I think we all just need to be patient. We got a trailer for Joker 2 a few months ago and that's coming in October. We just got a concert film, confirmation that an album is coming, a teaser of the sound, and jazz + piano clips to tide us over. 

Even if nothing happens until 2025, we're far from a drought. The little monstrosities just frequently don't appreciate what we get.

We’re definitely getting an announcement soon. This is all I’m certain. She’s most likely waiting for j&p to be finished. Mid July announcement? August? September possibly as close as it is to Joker? It seems she’s pacing everything out carefully with the whole gcb film ending. She hasn’t mentioned anything about it other than sharing a repost (that I’m aware). It feels to me she’s maybe trying to manipulate the streaming system a bit so that the era will be or just start off more slower paced instead of, snippet/ announcement/ singles with videos/ album/ tour announcement dropped all in one go, which it seems usually makes people impatient and ready to move onto the next era asap. 

It’s very clear though something will be happening soon even judging by j&p with the btw era vibe hair and the addition of Americano to the setlist. She hasn’t performed that in what, 12 years? Interesting for her to pull that out (while it does kind of fit the vibe when thinking about her performance of Sway). Some would maybe argue that the tapping into the btw era could be indicative of like, joker hype, but I just am not sensing that. It all feels very much lg7 direction. * Editing this in: maybe the addition of Americano was for pride * 

June I am thinking is just a done deal and to expect nothing at least until j&p is over. Not long now yall.

actually thinking about it too, the gcb merch doesn’t ship until the month of July according to the site. For some reason that to me is also telling. Allowing the gcb era to have it’s own time and allowing them to make way for new merch. 
 

personally the hype has completely died for me in terms of clamoring for the announcement. She teased way way too much throughout this year on and off, which made me feel confused, disappointed, and annoyed. I am still very much excited and looking forward to the announcement, but have definitely dialed back my emotions and have put a lot of my focus for music in my other faves. Once it is announced, I’ll be crying and flailing all over the place just like every time

Honestly I prefer it not to come in June/July at this point. I’m still obsessing over Brat and I don’t have the mental capacity to digest a new Gaga album right now lol. Totally fine having a brat summer and an lg7 fall

Actually this. Even though I ordered from the UK shop and it states shipping Aug 9th. 
and yeah I’ve come to terms not expecting, just hyping when wheels start turning again. Everything else isn’t good for my little monster soul
