As someone who struggles with allergies, I can tell you that it's a horrible thing to go through this in public.

I've had allergy episodes where I blow my nose so much it gets irritated around the nostrils and it HURTS and BURNS like hell whenever I touch it. It's horrible to have to go out of home like this. You feel how people look at you just because you are sneezing, blowing your nose or just breathing deep and making that embarrassing sound the inside of your nose makes just so you don't have to blow your nose and it hurts.

So, yeah, basically what I'm trying to say is, let's not forget she's a human being and is probably trying to give the best show possible while being sick.

Don't be immature, we all go through things like this and it's not like she's a robot.

Honestly i doubt its a full blown cold.

A significant number of the clips were the Edinburgh shows during a cold snap. And Murrayfield is a famous wind tunnel disguised as a stadium 😂 sis was struggling so much with the UK summer cold snap she started wearing gloves 😂

Katy had a cold during the Prismatic show I went to. We were in the front of the pit and I sang all the songs so she crouched down and touched my hand. 
 

I got a cold right after.

I mean...okay? Are you going to pretend that you've never been caught by a runny nose in a moment where you're not able to get a tissue? She's in the middle of a concert, it isn't like she's just at home sitting on her couch. There's not people just standing by with tissues for her, even if she asked for one I doubt seriously one would get there so fast that this sort of thing could've been avoided. 

Of all the legitimate things to criticize her and other celebrities for, but some of you all (thankfully a lot of you are much more understanding and that's so refreshing) sure tend to latch onto the absolute dumbest and most normal everyday things that all human beings deal with.

Nobody is hating on successful women when we criticize her. That's a giant strawman swifties try to use to de-legitimize anything people say to criticize her. People hate her, not successful women, and for damn good reason.

It would've been so much more humanizing if she'd just wiped it away with a cloth. "Sorry, my sinuses are acting up" "I'm not used to this weather" 

Letting your snot run and eating it or just wiping it on yourself is exponentially worse.

And no, no one would be criticizing her if it had been the other way. Because she would've handled her dribbling snot like a regular person.

Literally why do you care though? Like what is the point of all this? Does it make you feel good or something to comment on someone you don't like having a runny nose? I don't get it. First of all, no one here is attacking successful women. The point is that and it is true, yes she is human and has the right to be sick and have a runny nose (as I have read in other comments) but it is disgusting and disrespectful to clean your snot like that, I mean, look how she has the mucus hanging from her hand? The fact that people see this as normal is disgusting and as a doctor I have seen many patients who have poor hygiene habits when it comes to sneezing and coughing, so I am not surprised to see this, but it should not be like that. She should have a cloth with her if she knows her nose is going to be runny, wiping with her hand and having mucus hanging out is the reason viruses spread, so please stop normalizing this behaviour. It is an educational issue.

Why do I care? It's a normal human reaction to find someone flinging their snot to be disgusting. Why aren't you disgusted? I don't talk about her often. I saw a disgusting video and responded and now you're responding to everyone defending her horrible hygiene.

Well I guess you’ll find your reasons eventually. The funny thing is she’s not even in the top 20 of most jet users. Don’t get me wrong, it still has an impact on our planet but it’s weird how people forget to mention it for Jay Z, Drake and Steven Spielberg who are actually in the top of this list. And then you say swifties just use hating on successful women as an excuse. Guess not…?

But yeah she’s just the worst human being for releasing more vinyl variants , it’s so unlikely to other musicians too.
