I’ll never in my life be able to afford to see her jazz show but she adores jazz music so much and it truly makes her so happy doing these shows. and I love JazzGa so much. In fact I don’t have any physical copies of her music except each of her jazz albums on vinyl bc I love her doing jazz that much. She genuinely loves doing the jazz & piano shows, they’re critically acclaimed, and lots of people attend them. There’s really no reason for her to stop. I adore JazzGa and It’s crystal clear that jazz makes her happy and fulfilled as an artist and that’s all I really want for her! At the end of the day, I really don’t worry about her next steps, as long as she is happy and healthy. I just know that I’ll be there supporting her and rooting for her no matter what. The way her jazz career is dismissed, mocked, shamed and eye-rolled at on here is wild. It’s so clear Jazz [and Tony] had a major impact on her longevity — she clearly feels that and feeds it. It’s for her to do, my god. So many of you hate on Taylor Swift for the same things you get annoyed at Gaga for not doing herself. You want to support and celebrate a once in a lifetime artist but then scoff at them being an actual artist in a world of mediocrity.
