CAPRISONGS 1,631 Posted June 18, 2024 Share Posted June 18, 2024 I have a feeling the first single for LG7 will come before Katy's new single 'Woman's World' It just feels so strange to me how Katy would announce her single nearly a month before its released It seems maybe the labels know about each others releases and don't want it to coincide on the same week?? I think the gap between single and album is more likely due to Katy’s old-school release schedule. Like Gaga, she came from that era where you could drop a single and have a month between to release the album and it would actually drive hype. But what’s weird is any printed official dates just say the 12th, like on her Twitter cover pic. She either means that it will be releasing in the evening on Thursday a few hours before midnight. Or she’s releasing like Justin’s last lead, and it’s just coming a day before the tracking week. If so that kinda just tells me she has radio and playlisting lined up like he did.
