I feel like the recent TayGa posts just before the announcement of Rep TV could be a hint of a possible collab. Also the fact that she plays Applause during the pre-show at the era tour is another big hint too. She collaborated with almost every artists on this playlist or they at least inspired her music. I think the Reputation TV collab could be a good thing for both of them bc it will reaffirm Gaga's leadership on dark Synth-pop music. LG7 will probably feature some dark synth-pop and electro sonorities so it doesn't sounds like a bad idea. (Also I like the idea of these two creating a song together) If she collab with Gaga, then maybe she wouldn't create any dramas. Also let's be real I don't think that Gaga can compete with Taylor now. She was able to do this back in 2010s but not now. I do think that The Joker 2 movie will be a huge and that it will boost her sales, but idk if LG7 will be this powerful, it is supposed to come out in August. I think that Gaga and her team don't care about the charts. Gaga care about the music and the artistry. She did it to Olivia due to the cruel summer drama, she did it to Billie due to the variants comment, and she did it to Charli probably for the reputation tour comment (and Charli's new album makes it clear they're not exacly on great terms). I don't think she has issues with Gaga, so she probably won't because she must be aware the rumour of her being a woman hater would become way too prominent. We really just can’t deny she sells regardless of how we can label her and the fans (who spends their money voluntarily even if it’s unnecessary) as psychotic and basic. It’s like the fans of K-Pop who eat every merch variant related to the album release because they support the artist by heart to achieve things (albums, cassettes, vinyls, photocards, solo members version, etc.) Weird behavior? Debatable. But it really happens when you got a massive fanbase. Tho the K-Pop merch releases are very creative so it gets the money’s worth, while Taylor’s variants are just pure tactics (leaning towards greed) and it’s really disappointing when one think about it with an open eye. Do I like Taylor? Yes. Did I buy every single variant of TTPD? Of course, no! I actually see TTPD as a mid-album, I literally genuinely like only 2 songs. You see, I see where the hate is coming from, I really now find it embarrassing to perpetually release variants for charts and I get the other criticisms for her as well, but you know it’s kinda embarrassing too to be hyper fixated on trashing Taylor in every thread. Like yeah, we get the hate towards her but what is the gain? I think it will be more interesting to read constructive criticisms that just mere hate tantrums. Like grill the girl intellectually. I hope this uproar too causes a change on Billboard rules, because pure hating without the aim of causing a change for betterment is just tacky. See how she befriends Lana? Gaga? Adele? (She literally moved her release when Adele was releasing). I think the newer gen of pop girlies and overall male artists are not safe.
