She was seemingly referring to the moment she appeared to call out her labelmate, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, at Glastonbury Festival over his controversial remarks”.

Feel sorry for Rina and value her artistry more than this misstep. Will I stream the song? Sure... but girl, i hope you compensate by idk collabing with Jill Biden
dracomalfoy 822
What is it with Paris kinda soft-relaunching her music career and why is Sia involved? I remember that moment in that Miley special where Sia and Paris came onstage to sing Stars Are Blind, it was so random See you at the beach. XOXO, The Mistress of Mayhem. Roughhouse Dandy 10,924
Knowing what we know now, I really wish we could keep Paris as a funny little relic of the past. But okay 🙃 This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.
Madame Goo Goo 3,824
Well this is very disappointing considering she is trying to break free of her record contract because of racism, and here she is collaborating with a proud racist who has never apologized for her actions. Ever since Rina cancelled her concert in my city and never gave a reason or rescheduled, I already like her a lot less and this is just adding to that. What a shame. I guess not particularly proud, but she never truly apologized and instead blamed her racist and homophobic remarks on the abuse she experienced, which is just deflection at its finest. I was abused and never had a racist phase. I said proud because of the fact that her apology was so hollow. Not to mention only found in her book.https://www.thepinknews.com/2023/03/20/paris-hilton-racist-homophobic-comments/ Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything

Pop music is so intrinsically tied to the personality of the artist that I would like to know if the person I’m listening to has a racist and homophobic history. You are right that proud racist was a stretch, but honestly after reading the article again I’m going to say that closeted homophobe is not at all a stretch. anyways my original point being that I do not support Paris and Rina’s support of Paris is definitely disappointing in my eyes, and opinion I will not change and have no problem making clear on an online forum, as there is no universe where “I don’t like Rina Sawayama because she is working with a racist” is a harmful comment to make.
