Sabrina Carpenter has been accused of copying artwork from a French magazine after releasing the cover of her new album.

Sabrina announced that her sixth studio album, Short ‘n Sweet, will be released on August 23rd. But fans have since accused the singer of copyright and slammed her for not crediting the publication after comparing her cover to a Cosmopolitan France spread from 2015. source

This is obviously inspired by that shoot, I think it’s fine to be inspired as long as they credit the originak photographer. Rihanna has done this before. Many people have.

I'm normally skeptical of accusations like these but I don't think we need to use more than a few brain cells to see how they're THE SAME.

edit- even as a photographer homage, tacky and telling about her as an artist if that’s what she agreed to (and didn’t credit)

⚠️edit- my apologies, was distracted by pic, and thought original was another album cover, not a magazine photo. Still weird, but not as egregious lol
