with all due respect, this is a truly insane interpretation.  If you're liberal and hate Fox ok I get it.  But this guy loves his daughter and to say that he's "downplaying" her work is preposterous and deranged.  How would they even be close enough that she would've talked to him about this if he's that evil of a person?  It's more like she chatted with him, as daughters and fathers who love each other do, and mentioned she finished the album and he's being sloppy by casually mentioning it in an interview.

The fact that they have completely different political views and still respect each other and have a good relationship should be viewed as a NORMAL thing in this sick society. One man is way more than his political views.

lol, chill? „Downplaying“ doesn’t mean he doesn’t love her 😂 no one has said that. The way he says it in the interview IS downplaying, just simply by condensing the entire work progress into a 10second run-down, this in no way shape or form is enriched with any merit. 
next time maybe think about what is written before you get all hot and heavy

It's a nice interview, 20 minutes. Just google Joe Germanotta under news and it'll come up. He speaks warmly about both of his daughters, their talents and their childhoods, the piano etc. He speaks about his business and the econony but doesn't really get political. He says that 14 years ago he was retired until Gaga basically ordered him to get off his ass and take over the restaurant. I have this mental image of a guy in his early 50's, retired, with a drink problem and a heart problem, it's not a good picture.

I wish Joe wasn't a Trump supporter, and I wish he didn't go on Fox because what they do with their political coverage should be illegal, to be blunt about it. Joe is part of the puzzle which is America. Whatever about 2016, Trump got 70m votes in 2020, after four years of awful behaviour in office, and only some of those 70m were maga idiots. A lot of them must have been guys like Joe, decent people who like rock music and have some warmth about them, and yet they can find Trump acceptable. It is an absolute mystery to me.

Anyway, nice interview, plenty about Gaga in there, all positive. Never mind LG7, it'll take care of itself.

He's not downplaying.  The main focus of the interview probably wasn't about her and the question was most likely asked in the middle of ten political questions.  He's not on there to do a press tour for her and he really didn't say anything negative about Gaga.  I am hot, and "heavy"   but ironically, despite your suggestion to think before I write, i scrutinize everything before I post it. . ot: i love you babe and everyone on here, even if i disagree sometimes

I mean at his point it’s clear she’s coming. I feel like we should look out next week. Although today’s not impossible imo. Ariana grande announced yes and? on sunday( i think) for a Friday release. I think this time they won’t do the stupid love roll out. They announced it two days before, cuz it was obvious the song leaked and people have already heard it.

It's a nice interview. It doesn't ever get full-on political. As ever I think Joe's reason for being there is to plug his restaurant, so there's a few minutes about 'how's business' and he mentions the economy, and that's it. The talk is 60% Gaga, 30% Joe and 10% Natali. Joe's fav Gaga song is Just Dance. The interviewer loves You And I and, in addition to asking everyone to stream it, she has learned to play it on bass.  Anyway, nice interview, I'd recommend to anyone to go look it up and hear the context in which he mentioned the album. It's no big deal, he doesb't know much about it and he's just talkin. Which I think was pretty much your own take on it.
