This woman constantly speaks up for injustice and those that are marginalized, her silence since the beginning is alarming and she should use her platform now more than ever. Honestly I think she’s walking on a very thin line because I’m sure she grew up around prominent Jewish people around her. Also, if I’m not mistaken, isn’t her man Jewish, too? It’d be in her best interest to continue taking a smart road and remaining silent. There’s thousands of children being firebombed??? she doesn’t have to be a voice for everything but this is way beyond pale 4
LadyxGaGa 1,270
it’s literally their last bastion of sanctuary like people are feeling there to stay out of the active conflict but the IDF keeps bringing it closer and closer to civilians

Keeo 281
I love and support Gaga so much but it’s been really bugging me that she’s been so silent on this.
River 104,865
Feels like they spoke now when they got the ok from Biden to speak, like all this time they were following Biden's decisions and were ok with Israel did so far.. burning children is not a good PR before elections I guess, especially for these celebrities who are about to endorse Biden, so they are doing the bare minimum.. "share, thoughts and prayers" I could play the moderator, I can ban you, die sis. 11

There have been countless monstrosities committed all over the world since she became famous and she isn’t responsible nor should she be held accountable for taking a stance and speaking out against any government body or groups. She has always stood up and spoke for human rights her stance should be a given! She is only responsible for what she can control. Her voice will do nothing in regards to Palestine or for the people who are suffering in the Congo, or anywhere else. She should remain silent. All these random celebs suddenly sounding off are only do so because of PR. At this point does it even really matter? Destruction of Gaza was always going to happen. Israel and billionaires are counting on taking that land. Edited May 29 by G U C C I 11 1

I would also point out that people shouldn't depend or expect some form of validation from any celebrity around this situation. This has been going on for almost a full year now, people with these platforms had ample opportunity to say something and didn't, and there are plenty of resources out there showing how disgusting the IDF has been in terms of what we know is happening (the G word that gets people banned on social media). We don't need any famous person telling us what stance to take or what to speak out on, because you can follow various content creators on IG and Tik Tok to see for ourselves what atrocities are being committed and to know exactly who is on the wrong side of history.
Sarah H 2,871
I find it a little off how many celebrities (and non celebs) are suddenly jumping on the bandwagon the past few days and sharing the 'all eyes on rafah' post. It feels like they are just doing it to look good and they don't really care. I'd rather they stay quiet than just do one performative share on their stories. 7 1
BULATIO 1,635
The conflict between Israel and Palestine is extremely complex. Katy chose to support the Palestinians, this is her right. Regarding Gaga, I am glad that she remains neutral and does not speak out about this conflict. BULATIO 1,635
Any attempt to join any particular side of this conflict looks very funny and ridiculous (with the exception of politicians and religious fanatics) fighting buryat 3
RenegAde 18,196
There's no need to make it about Gaga anytime someone speaks up for this cause. Making this about celebs almost trivializes it. 15 1
Siena 5,630
This issue isn’t about celebrities and we need to stop expecting every celebrity make a public opinion about everything. I’d much rather Gaga or any celebrity stay silent and make quiet donations / do their own research rather than post an insta story and call it a day. The majority of celebrities are just posting something so they can pat themselves on the back and feel like they did something.
