I'd switch Enigma and SFA.

Sine From Above after Enigma fits so well. The ending would’ve lead into Finale so perfect.

There was NO REASON she needed to perform all of Telephone. I never realized how long a song it is lmaoo. We were so upset we never got to hear Plastic Dolls live, but I get why it was included (it’s a hate song to her fans imo)

Ye I totally agree dude. They should’ve been added to the set list 100%.

I know a lot of people don’t like Plastic Doll but I think that’s mainly because of the bad lyrics, (and maybe the I-E-I-E bit lol). But the actual sound and beat of the song are really cool imo and would be pretty intense live. And Sine From Above :messga: and that insane breakbeat outro :mark:! I really don’t know why she didn’t include that song considering how deep its meaning is, and how epic it would sound live. And it really is the dramatic climax of Chromatica imo.

Have any of you guys ever watched Rihanna’s ANTI tour because I think she did something really cool with her setlist. She managed to cram in lodes of songs, but most were medleys and all cleverly remixed into each other which I thought was really effective. I wish Gaga would do the same with a lot of her songs on tour, especially the older material. It would also allow her to fit in more deep-dives, even if each song is only played for 30 seconds to a minute etc.

If I were to include Plastic Doll & SFA in the setlist.

I'd put Plastic Doll in between Alice & Replay.

And then have Sine from Above played at the end of the piano set in Engima's place.

And then end the show with Engima instead of Hold My Hand.

Kylie did something similar with her "Everything Taboo" medley from her greatest hits tour in 05/06/09 and her Doll House medley from the KMO tour.

I wish more artists would integrate medleys into their show.

A Telephone/LoveGame(ChewfuHouse Remix)/Judas/Replay medley would kill me ngl.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LoveGame but I feel like she hasn’t really performed it with justice for a while. Her BTW and Joanne performances of it were great, but it felt kinda ~meh~ at the Chromatica Ball. I would get rid of it and added Plastic Doll. As for Sine? It deserved a time to shine but I can’t see her replacing any of the Ballads for it since Elton isn’t performing with her.

Also, Applause would fit nicely after Born This Way. Then she goes down and returns with the piano segment.

I think Bad Romance ultimately ended up being do we do it as a dance number again or do we use it as a catalyst/medium for the whole concept of brutalism, "fame is prison", darkness, etc. Watching the film again today I wondered for the first time if the Alice prop was brought from the tour's heavily rumored OG concept because it would've been fitting for an opening as well if Chromatica I/Alice had opened the show.

I would have cut everything before Alice for this reason. Alice was a great opener. ASIB didn’t really fit the overall style of the show either.

I kinda don’t mind they weren’t included, however I have always wondered how 1000 Doves performance would look like since the album came out . I love the acoustic version but I’m a big fan of the album version as well!

But I would have included Sine From Above after Born This Way. I think the “golden” section is kinda too short and ends very abruptly. Sine’s outro would merge into the “Tamara” interlude. If fits the narrative of finding freedom and love of that section.

Plastic Doll, on the other hand, it’s a hard one. Perhaps I would place it after Sour Candy but I think it would make the energy go down a bit. I guess they could add more guitars for the live version to sound more rock-ish.

You really think so? I think it’s more against the expectations of beauty and being controlled by the industry

Beyoncé does an amaaaazing job of that as well, especially on her last two tours. Gaga did something similar with Poker Face / Telephone at the artRave and it worked really well IMO.
