so make it clear again. 77years wont make an excuse, they are responsible to make the protocols clear EVERYTIME.

and they were invited

Saying it wasn't clear is an excuse: some people just think so highly of themselves that they believe the rules don't apply to them. But they do.

They're either lying or just showing the little interest they had in the festival in the first place. I guess they would send their clients down a cliff if they were told they'd find photographers there.

First of all we are talking about France, not "Europe".

...France is European. It's literally apart of the European Union. :laughga:

The racism is showing sooo blatantly in this thread. And in many other countries outside of the US anti-blackness and racism is typically worse it’s just not as widely discussed or talked about. People are truly acting dense.

Stop Shaming that woman. She is a security person doing her job and having people move when they dont respect timing and abuse the carpet. You usually cant stay on the steps.

Securities are much more violent in nightclubs when you dont respect the rules and we dont see anything flooding the internet.

These two persons on the video clearly seem to not want to respect consigns and stay on the steps.

Also stop seeing racism everywhere. Not all countries have the same systemic racism as in the US

There's lots of videos showing other well known and mostly white celebs being allowed to take their time on the carpet and helicopter security lady was no where to be found invading their personal space.

It all depended on what kind of invitation someone had.
Those who had invitations from sponsors (festival-cannes.com/en/the-festival/they-support-the-festival/) could take photos

Heidi Klum was doing promo as new ambassador for L'Oreal (official sponsor), Bella Hadid was invited by Chopard to promote their jewelry.

Girl no shade but anyone ever told you that you give off  major chatgpt vibes, like how do you just casually have all this random info.:huntyga:

Anyway thanks for the context. They need to figure out a way to enforce this weird rule without embarrassing their own guests. It still sucks

Mama, this take is garbage. There's no reason for this woman to put her hands on people; especially when they're not the last ones even on the carpet.

And maybe don't tell people to ignore racism. That's just gross. How about you start listening when people call out racism instead of opening your mouth to defend it? Let's not pretend Europe is a racial utopia. Your post is just weird tbh. Do better.

There is no racism here, though? Everyone gets ushered on that red carpet. There are plenty of video's in which u can see white celebs being directed to move on.

The thing is people collecting a few fragments to create a narrative that in reality just isn't there.

And like @elijahfan stated, there are a lot of rules for this event, especially for the stairs. Ushers have to direct people to make sure the events inside the building can start on the planned time.

They have no time for celebs that want an extra moment to pose against the rules. And yes, if celebs don't collaborate, they might have to touch them. That's literally part of their job but something that they probably wanna avoid as much as possible.

This has nothing to do with actual racism in Europe and elsewhere but that's a whole different topic.
