Dance in the Shadows snippet sounds similiar to Replay's intro

Lots of people saying the snippet sounds like something from BTW and I couldn't disagree more. This buildup is very similar to the buildup in Replay's intro. Look, I made this side by side comparison because I think the drums sound very similar, the harmony is of course completely different, but it's basically the same build-up technique.

i know the technique is used in a lot of songs, and i'm not comparing the songs or saying they will sound similar, but like, we don't have that style of production on BTW, we do have that on Chromatica. Just wanted to point it out

The last thing I want is this album to have the sound of Chromatica. I mean every album of her its different so it better be different. I personally didn’t like the sound of the album and what Bloodpop made with the demos which were actually lit before

I’m very excited to listen to this but gonna completely avoid all extended mixes and AI generated stuff based on that short snippet for obvious reasons. Need to go there with no expectations and ideas.

It definitely sounds more like Chromatica than BTW, but it has a metallic feel to the beat like it’s a soft industrial sound that’s unique

For all we know this song can turn into an opera after the drop. These 5 seconds tell me nothing about it's genre.
