I didn’t hear it either until I tried to listen for it. I sometimes I hear “night,” sometimes “moon,” sometimes it just sounds like “oh-oh-oh-oh” to me.

I think people are misinterpreting the synth as actual vocals, since the "oh-oh-oh" of the end of the word "shadow" bleeds / fades into the synth.

And yes I love it so much too, no matter what she is or isn't saying!

Something about the way the vocals are produced just hits different.

I didn't hear the moon as well, but now I'm having the HQ snippet on replay, and it really sounds like she's singing dance in the shadow OF THE MOO-O-O-O-O-O-O-ON. And that distorted voice is probably my favorite part of the snippet, I just KNOW it will drop hard after that
