Jennifer Lopez's Netflix sci-fi thriller Atlas is panned by critics

Jennifer Lopez's latest film Atlas premiered on Netflix on Friday, but it hit the service amid a wave of withering negative reviews from film critics.

The science-fiction thriller earned a disappointing 17 percent rotten rating from the critics surveyed by Rotten Tomatoes, indicating a solid wave pans.

Metacritic, which accounts for the strength of pans and praise, assigned the film a score of 38 out of 100, indicating 'generally unfavorable' reviews.

On positive note, I don't think is JLo acting being criticized but weak movie.

I was never really the biggest JLo fan but did she do anything specific to flop this hard or is it just her being a diva and a horrible person catching up?

She's never been a great actress and got attached to questionable movies (since Anaconda) so it's nothing new

I just finished watching it and I actually really enjoyed it (more than her last Netflix movie The Mother)
