THIS %100. melodrama is the ultimate sad girl poetic experience with amazing production and ultimate slayage the boots down.
Can’t believe it was robbed from winning AOTY. The times I have cried listening to it is absurd :bradley:

Also Pure Heroin deserves to be much higher on this list. She was SO young when she wrote that album and it has such emotional depth.

It's crazy how popular Gaga is yet somehow still underrated. I'm kinda tired of people not taking her seriously when she is among the best artists of our generation. Any of her first 3 albums could easily be in the top 50, hell even ASIB. Then again, it's Apple Music and they were only ever created to be a direct competitor to Spotify. Miss Hill I'm happy for you but your one hit album isn't the best of all time

It's a shame because when people start to acknowledge Ga's impact and legacy it'll be when she's gone, like most great artists.

This list is a great reminder that music preferences are purely subjective.

The Fame deserves a spot tbh, it’s so perfectly campy while holding onto artistic integrity in a way that no other pop artist has come close to in my opinion. I feel in general people fail to give Gaga credit in certain aspects like this because pop music is ‘supposed to be fun and campy’. I felt similarly when she wasn’t getting enough credit when nominated for best actress in ASIB for the live vocals in the movie. She was able to sound like a new artist afraid of letting go and show vocal growth from a character standpoint without any backtracking or dubbed vocals. But ‘she’s a singer so she’s supposed to be able to do that’.

Anyways… The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is a truly beautiful album so I’m happy with that being number one. My rankings have shifted over time, but Tell Him has consistently been my favorite song from it over the last several years.

I mean, the version of TFM that's on the list is the deluxe. So, The Fame is in there

Taylor Swift above Madonna LMAO :ladyhaha:

The lack of different genres is also disappointing.

Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams.

These lists are always absolutely wild but this one in particular is gagging.

The fact that anyone is bold enough to say that 1989, regardless of the version, is better than REVOLVER or BORN TO FREAKING RUN is absolutely shocking

switch Lemonade's spot with BEYONCÉ and I'll agree :vegas:

I have few personal points on this list

I salute them for actually not putting usual suspects on #1, by usual suspects, I meant The Beatles and/or Elvis Presley. It's so boring, predictable, and overrated af.

I also salute them for actually including young artists in this

BUT.., that's where the praises ends.

Overall this list are washed tbh. In no way TFM is lower than 1989 (TV), also where are Dolly Parton, TLC, Mariah, Whitney & Britney, to name some for example? They're also snubbed a lot of monumental metal/rock albums. I'd like to know how they choose what they chose here. Cos overall, when I see this list top to bottom, it just feels like you gave a blank paper and ask a middle schooler to list their best albums of all time as their homework. And yes, I am aware this list is objective, which is why personally, this list doesn't represent me. :franminervini:

Whoops, you are correct :icega:

although it almost makes the ranking of 89 even more unfair for Gaga then lol

I mean I can see some newer albums at the top 20. I hate it when articles like this always put old albums at 1 when some of these albums don't deserve it, the user who wrote the article just preffers old music because they grew with that type of music.

And also, 1989 at 18?? That's crazy. I listened the album, and I only liked Style, WTNY and Blank Space. TFM and SOS deserved way higher.

A lot of new music is garbage.

i think i think... that we can make a top albums of ALL TIME because each generation was different, the standards of each year are different and im not sayin some years the quality was low or higher, just different standards.

So for me, the only thing it can applies to a ALL TIME top is a by popularity, and thats too much 2 say because its obviously the oldest album have more chances to be more famous.

kindest regards

I'd put Emotion instead of 1989 tbh. The Fame Monster deserved a higher position too, you can still see its impact to this day.

Strike a pose ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍💖
