I agree wholeheartedly. 16 songs just doesn’t make for a completely front to back solid body of work. 10-12 usually does it for me. I wish artists, with streaming being a thing now, would release filler as droplets separate from an album

But I agree. 12 songs and 40-45 mins is the perfect length imo. Everyone releases 20+ songs to inflate their streaming units and it's so lame.

maybe it’s me, but literally 90% of my favorite albums are extremely short, like 10-11 tracks is perfect imo.
