The whole Taylor hate train on this site has been really confusing to watch  Whether you like it or not, EVERY chart-topping major artist is employing SOME competitive practice for a high chart position. All the gays ever want from artists like Gaga is "promo" and an in-your-face era --- and then when Taylor does it, she's treated like the devil.

Furthermore, whether you like it or not, Billie Eilish is not an underdog or a victim. She is a mainstream major-label popstar who (just like Taylor, Dua, etc.) released a dozen variants of her record as a competitive bid for #1. If anything, she's worse, because she was doing interviews slamming other artists for doing the same exact thing she did.

EDIT cuz I'm not done: I also don't get the "when will it be enough?" complaint when it comes to Taylor. It's not about this campaign, cuz it was already happening when she announced the album title. What do you guys expect her to do? Music is her job. It reeks of stan jealousy because of Gaga, Rihanna, etc. defecting to side projects as a main source of income.

When will people read the article and what she said correctly?

The entire point of her comment was artists not releasing environmentally-friendly vinyls and variants. Hers are. That's the point. 

Second, we don't want for Gaga what Taylor is doing. Taylor is just slapping different covers, tracks and versions on the same album, claiming "limited time only" when it's a farse and then releasing different editions coincidentally the same week as other artists' highly-anticipated releases. This reeks of desperation for numbers and is not true artistry. 

What we're asking for Gaga is music videos, performances, interviews, etc. Not this factory farmed sterile version of "music" (i.e. TTPD)
