I mean, I agree with Pitchfork for once. The album just isn’t good enough to eclipse Happier Than Ever. The thing is, it’s clear Billie was building to something & evolving. The progress was evident when listening to WWAFA,WDWG into Happier Than Ever but HMHAS feels like a massive step back. It sucks cause I was excited to hear how she’d evolve from the previous work.
