If OP had said “Taylor has become like Kanye in the regard that..” or something among those lines. But to say she has become exactly like Kanye is just plain rude lol "Taylor has become exactly like Kanye: she swipes the microphone away from women often now just like what was done to her by Kanye in the beginning of her career." Sooooo what do you think the colon is for in the sentence? OP literally explained the "in the regard that" in the actual same sentence. Why are we arguing so hard when we're having to grasp for anything? And I'll add to OP: Kanye was better than Taylor is now in THE REGARD THAT Kanye is very upfront about his intentions and his opinions while Taylor hides behind her fan base and her idea of misogyny.

She also took pictures with a guy wearing a swastika at a party. and let’s not pretend that Taylor has been kind of indifferent on social causes most of her career. Like she didn’t give a **** about politics until she literally had to. (And managed to victimize herself even then in her documentary). sometimes I almost think the passive and indifferent people are worse because at least loud mouths like Kanye and Azealia are ballsy enough to say their crazy **** out loud. I know where they stand. Taylor is flakey and will do whatever benefits her image. Artist from NYC. 2

The You Need to Calm Down video is more offensive than Kanye’s unmediated rants in my opinion. Again, Kanye is mentally ill and we know that. We know what he says. It’s the fact that she disguises what she is doing. That’s more ****ed. Really think about what I am about to write: I know that some people will not get this and aren’t that educated on Queer History or Queer Sociology. But Taylor basically created caricatures out of LGBTQ people with that video after she had pressure for remaining completely absent in supporting a certain part of her fanbase for years and took advantage of queer people clout chasing for her own gain. She should have apologized. But she doubled down and insisted that her own father got in the way of her support for even the most generic pro-equality message. We weren’t even asking her to Gaga-level support the gays. She could have at least done what Britney did in 2002 and openly talked positive about them and said they deserve rights too. Which Britney did. And Britney actually came from the RED south… Also the message she has in that video comparing the adversity she faces because of internet criticism ≠ what dead queer soldiers family’s dealt with at the funerals because of Westboro Baptist or what queer kids in general experience growing up in homophobic households its just….how are you about to be the girl that avoided the gay club for YEARS and then come in acting like you not only own the place but that you somehow understand and can relate? Lol. **** off Edited May 19 by BlackLight Artist from NYC.

But not some folks acting like a Taylor collab would be morally iffy for Gaga. Need I point you to the following: Richy Terry R Kelly Albeit I’m unsure about Rich (we will see how she responds with her next album cycle as many of those developments are post-Chromatica), Gaga actually made amends for that by deleting the song from the internet. Not to mention she has openly admitted she was abusing drugs and alcohol at the time and she regrets it and is sorry. That’s what an adult does. They apologize, they make a visible change, and they don’t repeat. Taylor has a hiccup after hiccup after hiccup after hiccup after shady after shady after shady thing. Never gets held accountable. And she even will use it to her advantage and victimize herself and turn into a narrative that can later be spun into something that she can sell. Gaga and Taylor are very different. Artist from NYC. Clearly you have learned a thing or two from Taylor about how to be wordy and create a narrative around people. Because you don’t want to face fair criticism. Because you don’t want to see your perfect pop stars image or legacy shattered. As if that even matters in late-stage capitalism. If anyone has been “spiralling”, it has been her fans, especially the past few years…who think it is ordinary to spend thousands of dollars on variants and vinyls, put down other women on the internet to prop up their fave, and give her a hall pass for literally every single ****ing thing. If there is any slight negative thing brought up about this woman, her fans already have literal lines it feels like they’ve rehearsed just to excuse her. It’s a huge problem in culture. Paradoxical relationships aren’t normal. Or healthy. why do you think Gaga got away from it? It’s not because she dislikes her fans. It’s because she actually worked on her mental health and realized being so ****ing serious about calling us little monsters all the time was maybe dangerous for us. All Gaga did was create healthy boundaries. But there are monsters here that will defend Taylor Swift because they miss when Gaga led us down this parasocial path and unhealthy, unending, hype train that never is satisfied. They want that again. but MAYBE Gaga is actually smart enough to actually look out for us because she knows this whole fan thing is becoming dangerous. Perhaps we should be thanking Gaga for setting a healthy standard now and becoming a better pop star than someone like Taylor who will drain her own fans to the point that Swifties don’t even realize how much they are embarassing themselves for a person that doesn’t know them. Celebrity worship is not normal. Actually now I want a Fame Part 3 where Gaga talks about this and maybe even says “I was wrong and here is why”. That’s a concept! “The Fame Paradox!” Artist from NYC.
PartySick 144,829
I'll say it again...I hate Taylor too but some of y'all have GOT to chill tf out. Criticize her all you want but the second you start drag out fighting with Swifties and throwing insults, you've lost the plot and you deserve to have a song dedicated to you on the next TTPD variant's bonus track(s). 1
