IVE - Accendio ( LG7 should sound like this )

I am obsessed with IVE’s new single Accendio, a little monster on Twitter described it as something you’d hear playing in Gotham City clubs. Well I say Gotham City gay clubs because I can absolutely see queens voguing to this, even the choreo has some voguing/tutting moments. 

The song is dark, eerie & hypnotizing, the production is absolutely insane, one of my favorite releases this year! I wish Gaga’s new album went into this direction, it’d be insane for her to release something like this before/after Joker, it would fit PERFECTLY. The MV is also amazing, the magical girls VS evil witches concept + the silliness & campiness of it all is great. Thought I’d share this bop if anybody cares. 

If you guys like Accendio, I highly suggest checking out the full EP, it is incredible, Heya ( first single, amazing MV ) & Ice Queen are 2 of my other favorites, the production is some of the best I’ve heard lately.

I didn't like it that much HEYA I found it a bit boring compared to previous comebacks on the other hand I loved Accendio have it on repeat since day-1 , it should have been the main title track.

I LOVE Heya, however, the more I listen to Accendio, I think I might like it even more. It feels more on brand for them, the hypnotic and eerie vibe plus some of the production choices remind me so much of Love Dive and that’s one of my favorite tracks from them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Accendio becomes a top 3 track from them for me because I’m seriously obsessed with it. I wish it was a pre-release because post releases don’t do that well usually in kpop, and I can already tell the song won’t get the attention it deserves which is sad.

I liked the EP after their full album too, but I agree this is far superior to the previous era. This new stuff is just too good.
