I listened TWICE before bed last night (when I should have been sleeping) and twice so far today and I have to say this is SUCH a pop culture moment!

To be honest I have so much to say but between the gay love story, lyrics, production, SONG STRUCTURE AND SWITCHES, transitions, etc...this is just wow.

She's changing the music industry. She's changing what songs can sound like and how they can be structured. 

She's showcasing her VOCALS honey.

I could go on and on and on but honestly I'm obsessed!

omg, guys, i have a theory!

if it's indeed a double album or a two part project, the first one represents water and the second is about fire...? i can even imagine the other album's cover showing the other side of the scene - maybe the room is on fire and the opened door lets Billie escape it and fall into the water... in the HMHAS's cover...  i'm probably completely wrong, but this damn door in the cover makes no sense to me lmao. or maybe she has explained its meaning and i've just missed that lol.

Antonoff peaked with Melodrama and Norman Rockwell but maybe that was just Lorde and Lana's input in the music. Taylor has a lot of stuff with Jack but none of it comes close to those ones as much as she has tried to.

Edit: Just to make it clear, I think Taylor is a good songwriter and she has earned her spot in the industry. Folklore and Evermore are beautiful albums she did with Dessner, Antonoff and crew.

Taylor is a good songwriter, but both Lana and Lorde are superb imo.

Why does every leaked audio and pic these days in the 2020s seems to be done with Motorolas from the early 2000's.  Do these people never use iPhones or what. This is why we can't take leaks serious sometimes.

None of the other songs in this album would peak their interest besides The Greatest I don't think.

it does give HTE vibes! i hope she does a real jazzy song one day. her vocals on My Future are close at times, have they heard that one?

Birds of a Feather, Wildflower and L'Amor de ma Vie could work too.
