Genuinely went in expecting a very good album as usual but this blew my expectations out of this universe omfg? Not a single average song, everything was very very very well made. Even the more 'basic' tracks like Birds of a Feather are very good. The constant switch-ups and changes in songs that shouldn't work but actually work perfectly and effortlessly is just... insane. There;s soo much to unpack here and i cant wait to relisten. I think she really perfected her sound and her ideas with this record and just gave us pure billie. im so proud of her ughhhh my favorite are probably chihiro and bittersuite but i also loooove blue, l'amour de ma vie, the greatest, wildfire... that's like most of the album asfhjkas its really that good. best album I've heard in a while by FAR. icon. Other than that, the production is truly amazing, Billie is serving VOCALS on many songs, I ****ing love all the electronic sounds used on the album. I noticed that in some of the songs they are randomly switching things up to keep things interesting. Also I didn't pay enough intention but it seems like all the songs transition into each other? It's definitely meant to be listened to in order and not in shuffle. First half of the album is stronger than second half imo. I was never opposed to her so called 'whisper singing', but this album she's really giving a more powerful vocal and I'm so here for it. Sublime work by Finneas as per usual.
