MelbHawker 6,583
My reactions for each song - ‘Skinny’ is a very.. sombre way to open the album. It’s a great song, though. Vocals pair so nicely with the instrumental. ‘Lunch’ is fun - I love the switch from ‘Skinny’. The outro is everything, so groovy.. just wish it was longer. ’Chihiro’ is cool. Her higher vocals are really impressive here, as is how Finneas keeps changing up that instrumental. ’Birds Of A Feather’ is cute. Instrumental feels nostalgic. I think the chorus is really sweet. Early 2000’s vibes. ‘Wildflower’ is gorgeous. The sort of song I’d play whilst lying in the sun. This slayed me. The guitar work slays here. ‘The Greatest’ was just okay.. up until half way through when Finneas EATS & switches it up. The guitar work is really solid. ’L’amour De Ma Vie’ isn’t what I expected given the preview of it at Coachella. With that said, IMO it’s a modern masterpiece & it’s the best song on this album. Her vocals are divine, so effortless. The switch to all out rage-y 80’s synth bop is EVERYTHING. This might be ha finest work. Bye Ari. Bye Taylor. Bye Bey. Bye Dua. Bye ghorls. She outdid y’all with this one. My only criticism is the dance-y part of this needs to be longer because it’s heaven oh my. ‘The Diner’ is about a stalker, I think? I found it.. just okay. ‘Bittersuite’ is better than ‘Diner’. I really appreciate Finneas’s work here. He’s mastered himself. I looove the outro. ’Blue’ closes the album nicely, kinda similar to how ‘Skinny’ opens it. 8/10 on first listen. I think it might be her best work? Time will tell. 2 1

Sneaky Oliver 21,239
I just listened to it and I’m shocked. It’s so GOOD. I really wish the more dancey moments were longer or more present on the album but they’re still worth it even being kinda short. The sound is quintessential Billie with an electronic music twist In the land of gods and monsters, I was an angel living in the Garden Of Eden

Anderson123 35,560
I didn't want to hype myself because this has been my most anticipated release from the pop girls and it's always the fear that your favorites break that streak of great albums but this is just from my first listen: Skinny is such a beautiful start, Lunch is so catchy and fun I understand why they're making a video for it. Chihiro, Bittersuite and Blue are QUITE THE JOURNEY wow these were made to be listened to with headphones or blast those speakers, the whole album actually but you get it. Skinny and Blue kind of have a similar end I love that. Birds of a Feather and The Greatest made me tear up, easily go straight to your heart with the melody and the lyrics. L'Amour de Ma Vie gave me a little bit of GOLDWING teas with the slow start and switch up, gorgeous too there's just no words I love it so much. I'm at work right now and got a little interrupted while listening to Wildflower and The Diner so can't say much about these but will come back to them later. Well nvm I decided to listen to those again and Wildflower is beautiful but probably my least favorite right now and not a bad thing at all, it's just that I prefer the others much more. The Diner is quite quirky and dark, takes me to a circus type of setting. Overall I think it's great from start to finish, I'm so glad she's making the music she wants right now after so many awards and can just write with Finneas whatever they please and it delivers. I haven't felt this way about an album since Melodrama and Norman Rockwell. I'd say my Top 5 right now are: 1. Birds of a Feather 2. Chihiro 3. L'Amour de ma vie 4. The Greatest 5. Skinny, Bittersuite or Blue

This is my favorite release so far, hope LG7 comes out before Joker.

I knowww, reading these reviews make me so HYPED! Ari's and Bey's albums were just ok for me, I enjoyed Dua's more, but tbh pop hasn't been serving this year other than Allie X imo. SO GLAD to hear this is a top shelf project. Billie and Gaga coming to save pop once again https://discord.gg/hausofdelulu 1
