I left the country 10 years ago, last time I visited there was 5 years ago, I'm not sure if it's good idea to come back at all for that reason you mentioned, I'm pretty sure they are following my socials and listening to my calls

I know that there are lists of whoever is against the government, pro Palestinians, LGBTQ+ and whoever is married to a non-Jewish, I'm inside all of them, I believe that they are following whoever is against the government, there were a few sudden arrests in the last few months of anti government and pro Palestinians activists.

It's wild to hear so many people speak so highly of Israel then you casually drop lore like "oh yeah, I went to jail because I refused to join the IDF and now they track my socials because I'm gay and didn't marry a jew"

Israel is just the American South on crack, right down to the backwards religious dogma and violence but with none of the sensible people stopping them from being terrible. You can't convince me otherwise

Because when they see Israel they see Tel Aviv, which is somewhat the most advanced and open minded city, but that's also only accurate to the central and north part of the city, the south is pretty much a dangerous, poor and closed minded place.

There's also Jerusalem, Christians LOVES the city, people underestimate the power of Jerusalem in this conflict, they underestimate the hate and loath that Christians across the globe has for the idea of Jerusalem under a Palestinian and Muslim state.

And tbh westerns don't understand the middle east, how powerful the religion is there, people don't even know that on Saturdays Israel doesn't have public transportation, most of the businesses are totally closed, you can find some restaurants but then they are witch hunted as "not kosher" and let's not start with the kosher food.. did you know that in Israel it's forbidden to raise pigs and boars?

We've been under a fascist government for more than 15 years, this beast is crawling and eating everything that has been good in the country, Netanyahu is a power hungry lunatic, he has an army of bots flooding the social media, either praising him like his a dictator, or poisoning the left wing, Biden and the democrats and other things  that are against him, it's like a big mafia there and he's the head.

And I can go on and on, there's just too much sh-t there.
